About AASC
What began with shared dinners became a national society.
AASC began with the annual ACC dinners at #ACC2023 and #ACC2024, where Arab-heritage cardiovascular specialists convened socially. Those gatherings revealed a strong desire for a structured community — and AASC was officially launched in mid-2024.
Today AASC connects medical students, residents, fellows, practicing cardiologists, and supporters across the U.S. — fostering mentorship, research collaboration, and a thriving professional family of 200+ members.
